Generally, commercial doors are manual self-coiling doors where the operator pushes the rolling screen up and down as required. Otherwise, commercial doors operate electronically with a single-phase tubular motor. The latter can be actuated automatically by using a key switch, a rocker switch or a hand-held radio transmitter. |

Industrial doors, profiled here, are either manually operated by a hand chain or electrically operated using a 3-phase 415-volt electric motor. Industrial shutter doors are ideal security solutions to loading bays, goods inwards stores, car park entrances and many other 'high usage' locations. Hand-chain operated industrial doors have the following features:
- Continuous haul chain
- Hand chain wheel or reduction gears
- Roller barrel assembly
- Independently fixed mild steel end plates

Electrical industrial roller shutter doors are ideal for frequent use. Electric doors have all the features of hand-chain operated doors with a 3-phase 415 -volt electric motor replacing the hand chain wheel. The door moves up and down with a stop/push button and a manual override continuous haul chain is provided in case of electrical failure.
